100 years working with the community, 1908 - 2008
Every year many children die or are seriously hurt as a result of an accident in the home. Falls, burns and scalds and poisoning are some of the most common accidents in the home. With the right safety equipment many of these accidents could have been prevented. CARES aims to reduce these accidents by providing home safety assessments and FREE safety equipment to families who have a child under the age of 5 years old.
CARES works very closely with a range of agencies working with children and families in order to increase awareness on home safety.
