BISHOP CREIGHTON HOUSE APPOINTS NEW CHAIRPERSON

Lee Smith has been appointed chairman of Bishop Creighton House with immediate effect.   He has been a trustee of the charity for four years. 

Lee has worked in the charitable sector for over 20 years, including Mind, the mental health charity, at national and local levels.  Lee, who is also a psychoanalyst working in private practice, is director and co-owner of Kingsmith Care, a homecare company.  He lives in Fulham.

Lee replaces Lucy Hutchins who has stepped down as chairperson due to other commitments but remains as a volunteer at the charity.

Lee Smith, new chairman of Bishop Creighton House said:

“On behalf of the board, staff and volunteers I would like to thank Lucy for her contribution to the direction and achievements at Bishop Creighton House - we wish her well.  I look forward to my new role, and to furthering the significant difference that I believe we make to the lives of people who are disadvantaged.”
