How we help
Our Learning Disability Outreach (LDO) project can help with confidence, skill development and with building friendships and social networks.
Our team offers mentoring, advocacy, employment guidance, literacy classes, health and well-being activities, workshops and social events. We develop lasting and constructive relationships with our clients and their carers and aim to improve the quality of life of the people who work with us.
Learning Disability Outreach and most of its activities are free to people with learning disabilities aged 18 and over who live in or are funded by the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

Making a difference
“The project helped me to volunteer, I like helping people, it gives me a sense of joy that I’ve helped somebody to do something and it leaves a big smile on my face”

“The project has been very helpful, good and supportive. It helped me to get my job that I really wanted, working as a carer. They help me do my training, we have learnt about dementia and safeguarding together and they are always there if I need anything.”
